In response to passengers' request for premium chocolates in premium economy class, Japan Airlines (JAL) has collaborated with LAWSON to offer LAWSON's original chocolate snack "Uchi Cafe SWEETS" on 7 of JAL's international routes from Oct 1 2011 to Feb 29 2012.
Each pack of "Uchi Cafe SWEETS" contains 6 pieces of richly aromatic, smooth and creamy chocolate made with pure fresh milk from Hokkaido and premium Dillon Rum produced in Martinique. The chocolate has received a gold medal in the 2011 Monde Selection in the Food Products category organized by the International Institute of Quality Selections.
This special treat will be available on the following flights

JL401 NRT-LHR
JL407 NRT-FRA

Somehow flights to Paris don't get the love and other than the DME routes, the chocolate is only available on ex-NRT flights. So are they going to provide other premium chocolates on flights to NRT to make it up? Also HND flights to SFO and CDG don't get the love either.

According to LAWSON website, 9 pieces of these chocolate contains 259kcal and cost 250 yen (tax included). So JAL's 6 pack contains 173kcal and its retail price is 167 yen :o How premium :p
Anyway, for those lucky ones flying on those routes, you can now enjoy your lovely premium chocolate with the freshly brewed high-quality coffee from JAL CAFE LINES. It will be quite a treat (well according to the press release :p).
