If you want to try out Japan Airlines' (JAL) brand new seats on SKY SUITE 777 which JAL will roll out on the Tokyo Narita - London Heathrow route from January 9 2013 and cannot afford to fly in their premium cabin, here's your chance! For a limited time, JAL has cooperated with Royal Garden Cafe and opened the "JAL Welcome! New Sky Cafe" at Aoyama. Inside the cafe, there are demo units of the new seats and sample the new Business Class menu.
The JAL Welcome! New Sky Cafe is basically the Royal Garden Cafe restaurant at Aoyama. You can get there by Tokyo Metro. The cafe is open 7 days a week from 11:00 till 23:00. During the promotion period (November 22-25 2012), JAL will put up a "Welcome! New Sky" banner as shown in the picture above in the balcony. Customers who visited the cafe can also try out the new seats which are set up at different locations inside the cafe. Right at the entrance are the new Premium Economy Class seat JAL Premium and the new Economy Class seat JAL SKY WIDER. Near the patio is the new First Class seat JAL Suite (2.0). And finally the new Business Class seat JAL SKY SUITE is near the restrooms.

Also available on the special menu is the dishes from the new JAL Business Class menu designed by Chef Yamada. The dishes will be presented with a JAL Original paper tray too. So if you happen to be in Tokyo during the promotion period, go check out the new seats and new menu! The dish on the special menu is the Yamada Chikara style truffle hamburger. The super juicy patty is made from beef from Sendai and is topped with truffle and a poach hot spring egg. The price of it is JPY 2,000 for the main dish only and JPY 2,500 for the lunch set.
