Japan Transocean Air (JTA), a subsidiary of Japan Airlines (JAL), has tied up with Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium to launch a special Jinbei Jet to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the aquarium and the 45th anniversary of JTA.

Jinbei shark is also known as the whale shark, which you can see in the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. A gigantic Jinbei is painted on fuselage of the 737-400 (registration J8939) and two live sharksuckers, a species of remora, are painted on the belly. This is just like what you would see in the aquarium!

JTA will be flying the Jinbei Jet on its scheduled routes from December 26 2012. So if you want to fly on the Jinbei Jet, you will need to fly to Okinawa Prefecture or on one of the inter-island flights. And you have until December 2017 to do so :)
