Japan Airlines (JAL) will collaborate with Soup Stock Tokyo, a popular soup restaurant chain in Japan, to create a new breakfast menu for select international flights departing from Japan. This menu will replace the existing NORIBEN (seaweed bento) menu, which is also a collaboration between JAL and Soup Stock Tokyo to promote Japanese food culture, on these flights.

The first installment of this menu will be Tomato Stew with Chicken and Vegetables. In order to recreate the experience in an actual Soup Stock Tokyo restaurant, JAL has specially designed an original tray mat to match the wooden table used in the store! So you will be able to enjoy creamy tomato stew just like you would on the ground!

This will be available as the breakfast before landing in Premium Economy and Economy Class on flights from Tokyo Haneda to San Francisco, Singapore, and Bangkok between September 1 and November 30 2013.
