Japan Airlines (JAL) has announced the Fuji Dream Airlines (FDA) codeshare flight schedules for October 30 2011 till March 24 2012. They have added a new Fukuoka (FUK) - Niigata (KIJ) route to the winter schedule. Below is the full FDA codeshare schedule. All flights are operated by FDA.
Japan Airlines (JAL) and Vietnam Airlines (VN) has reached an agreement to expand their existing code sharing deal to include Nagoya-Ho Chi Minh City and Narita-Hanoi from October 1 2010. Ticket sales will start on August 5 2010. JAL will also retime its Narita-Honai flight on the same day it starts codesharing with VN on this route. Below are the schedules.
Yet another rumor. This time it is based on another rumor earlier saying JAL will suspend flights to Sao Paulo. Apparently Japan Airlines might have changed its mind and decided not to suspend Sao Paulo and some other routes.
Japan Airlines is planning to suspend its 7 weekly Chubu-Paris flights in October as part of its cost reduction restructure. The flight load was around 60% during April-June which is a sharp drop from before. JAL's flight to Paris is the ONLY flight operated by Japanese carrier from Chubu to Europe. That's why the airport officials are trying to persuade JAL to change its mind. They were hoping JAL would consider having a frequency reduction instead of route suspension.
