Japan Airlines (JAL) has changed the JMB miles accrual chart for Air France (AF) flights from September 1 2011. This is due to fare realignment on the AF side. Below are the new and old charts for comparison

Japan Airlines may (JAL) seek joint venture agreement with Air France (AF) to bolster its European operations. According to the Bloomberg report, JAL will seek other JBV opportunities in Europe if the JBV with British Airways (BA) cannot cover the entire Europe.

Japan Airlines (JAL) announced a bunch of new codeshare flights tends to improve Haneda's international network. Also, the new AA and AF codeshares will improve the new HND-SFO, HND-HNL, and HND-CDG connectivity. (Finally there's a LAX-SFO codeshare YAY!). You can find the full schedule of the new codeshare flights on JAL Press Release. Reservations on these new codeshare flights start from Oct 1 2010 with the exception of CX codeshares.

Even though Japan Airlines has officially picked AA over Delta two weeks ago, the drama doesn't seem to end there. A French newspaper La Tribune once again tried to stir up the drama and started up a rumor that Air France-KLM is in talk with JAL for a joint business venture for flights between Japan and France.

Air France-KLM confirms report from Dutch daily De Telegraaf that they are in talks with Japan Airlines and Delta!

NHK has released more information about the Japan Airlines possible financial tie-up with other airlines. It now reports JAL is looking for tie-up not only with Delta, but with Air France-KLM too.

Japan Airlines will expand its code share agreement with AIr France starting from July 7 2009. JAL will add daily Paris-Istanbul flights operated by AF to its code share network. Below are the details of the code share flights:
