[UPDATED] JAL 787 delivery schedule affected by latest glitch found in Boeing 787
You probably have heard about Boeing 787's latest glitch in production which causes "delamination" in the aft fuselage. Because of this glitch, the delivery schedule for Japan Airlines (JAL) has been affected. According to Reuters, JAL is no longer expect to receive the first 787 by the end of February and is not sure whether they will get their 4 787s by the end of March

Japan Airlines (JAL) has just announced the route, flight frequency and fleet plans for first half of fiscal year 2012. Part of that includes a new 787 destination, Singapore (SIN). So far, announced JAL 787 destinations include Boston, Beijing, Delhi, Moscow and Singapore. Below are details of the announced plans.

Japan Airlines (JAL) has just announced their flight frequency plan change for the 2nd half of the current fiscal year. This time they have more increases than decrease in frequency :p Below are the changes effective October 30 2011
JAL moving to Terminal 3 in Delhi on July 30 2010
Japan Airlines (JAL) will be moving its operation at Delhi from Terminal 2 to Terminal 3 on July 3 2010. Terminal 3 is a newly built terminal at DEL. All international carriers will be moving to T3 as well. IT, 9W, IC, S2 will move their operations from T1 to T3 on August 27 2010. JAL will be using Kingfisher's lounge in the new T3 (Obvious choice right? Since they will be joining Oneworld). However the lounge won't be open until mid August. Until then, JAL passengers are invited to use the common lounge. For layout of the new T3 and location of JAL check-in counters, you can refer to here. Lounge access rules are listed here. According to the press release, Kingfisher's new lounge will use the color red as its main color, and there will be wireless LAN access and shower facilities in the lounge.

Rumor: Frequency reductions on 7 NRT routes
JiJi.com reports that Japan Airlines (JAL) is planning to reduce frequency on 7 Narita routes from October, resulting a reduction of 40 weekly flights at NRT.
JAL enhances business class meals on SE Asia flights

Japan Airlines (JAL) will enhance the business class meals on its Southeast Asia flights from April 1 2010. If you are flying from Japan to Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bali or New Delhi, you will be the lucky ones who can first try out this new dinning experience.
JAL to expand Premium Economy service to Jakarta and Delhi
Japan Airlines announced that they will expand the Premium Economy service to the Jakarta (CGK) and Delhi (DEL) routes. This is something JAL should have done long time ago considered they are currently giving those Sky Shell seats (the seats in the PY cabin) out for free! Ticket sales start from January 28 2010.
JAL announces new frequency reduction
Japan Airlines has announced further reduction of its international network today. The earliest reduction will start on July 1 2009. According to the press release, JAL has to do this to improve profitability due to slow recovery in air travel demand.
