One of the most popular drinks served on Japan Airlines (JAL) flights have been the JAL Original Drink - Sky Time. It is the 3rd most popular drink in the economy cabin after beer and wine. JAL first started serving Sky Time on international routes on January 15 1992 and expanded that to the domestic routes by the end of March. So this year actually marks the 20th anniversary of Sky Time :) During the past 20 years, there have been changes in Sky Time and some passengers have expressed that they missed the original kiwi flavor. And because of that, JAL has decided to bring back the original kiwi flavor for a limited time only!
Sky Time Kiwi was served between 1992 and 2004 on JAL flights. It was replaced by Sky Time Yuzu which was served until 2011. Last year JAL replaced the popular Yuzu flavor with Shikwasa (Okinawa lemon). So the Kiwi flavor is actually the one that has been around for the longest!

JAL has reproduce the Sky Time Kiwi with 3% kiwi juice, lots of vitamin C and royal jelly, and gave it a very old fashioned design packaging. If you want to try out this popular kiwi flavor or to taste it again, you have to hurry up and book your ticket now because JAL this will only be served onboard till the end of August! Sky Time Kiwi will be available on JAL international flights between June 15 and August 31, and it will be served on some JAL domestic flights, including JAL Express, J-Air, JTA and JAC, between June 1 and August 31.
