More JAL planes with COP10 special livery

In case you have missed this, Japan Airlines (JAL) has added the COP10 logo to its Eco-Jet since June 13 2010. This is to show JAL's support to the 10th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 10) to the Convention on Biological Diversity to be held in Aichi, Nagoya in October and to raise awareness for the event and its motto of “Life in Harmony, into the future". Now JAL has decided to add the COP10 logo on more planes.

The two new planes with the COP10 logos are J-AIR's E170 plane with registration number JA217J and JAC's Q400 plane with registration number JA841C. The logo will remain on these planes from July 22 till end of October 2010. The E170 plane will be flying on 10 domestic routes including Nagoya (Komaki) while the Q400 one will be flying on 17 domestic routes including Osaka and Kagoshima.

In case you are wondering where JAL got the money to add these logos, don't worry, JAL has sponsor! In fact, the sponsor is no stranger to JAL. It is the company which makes the rice crackers on JAL international flights. Kameda Seika is the sponsor of these special livery planes. They are also running a campaign with JAL right now!
