JAL is a World Saver (i.e. Save JAL Save the World LOL)

Condé Nast Traveler (a travel magazine) has awarded Japan Airlines the World Savers Award in the airline category. This newly added category is to recognize the most socially responsible airlines.

There are 5 key aspects the judging panel used to evaluate the companies: education programs, wildlife conservation, poverty alleviation, environmental or cultural preservation, and health initiatives. JAL actually has at least one program in EACH of the 5 category. It scored 81.5 out of 100 points and defected 99 applicants.

This is one of the rare good news for JAL in the last few weeks. Good job JAL! So if JAL is a World Saver, does it mean "Save JAL Save the World"!?!? So who is going to be the JAL Saver? :P
