Temporary service suspension of Tokyo Monorail on April 10

Tags

Both Japan Airlines and Tokyo Monorail has put up a notice regarding temporary service suspension on April 10 2010. So if you are flying out of/into Haneda on that day, you should be aware of this.

Tokyo Monorail has to temporary suspend service between Shouwajima station and Haneda Airport Terminal 2 from 13:00 till the last train on April 10. They are scheduled to switch railway track during that time in preparation to the opening of the new Haneda Aiprot International Terminal station. Alternative bus transportation services will be available during the suspension.

So if you are flying to/from Haneda, you should set aside more time to travel to the airport. Don't say JAL/Tokyo Monorail haven't warned you if you miss your flight due to this. I am excited to see this. Haneda will be a whole new airport when I visit Japan again after October :)

You can visit the monorail website (in Japanese) for train schedule on April 10.
