JAL Hang Seng Card 5th anniversary campaign

Tags

Japan Airlines Hong Kong is having a special campaign for the 5th anniversary of the JAL Hang Seng Card, the credit card used for earning JMB miles in Hong Kong.

There are three parts in this campaign.

  1. Earn up to 7,500 miles. You will get 2,500 miles once you have successfully applied for the card. Another 2,500 miles after spending HKD2,500 with the card (or make a cash advance which I don't recommend :P). Finally another 2,500 miles when you board your first JAL flight after getting the credit card.
  2. Enjoy exclusive JAL economy class fares to Tokyo and Osaka from Hong Kong till June 30 2010. The ticket is HKD2,560 for an adult during non-peak periods, excluding taxes and surcharge. The ticket will earn 50% JMB miles. This isn't the best deal I have seen. This is still a few hundred HKD more than a ticket I bought last July, which by the way gave me 70% JMB miles.
  3. Platinum cardholders can enjoy the HKG Sakura lounge and use the Business Class check-in counters at HKG until March 31 2010. But the Sakura lounge won't be available for the Haneda flights.

For details of this campaign, you can refer to JAL Hong Kong website.

    is it have expired date?

Yes! You can refer to JAL HK website (link at the bottom of the post).

For the first 2,500 mile bonus, I don't think the promotion will expire. This is just the welcome bonus miles.
For the second 2,500 mile bonus, you have to get your application approved by March 31 2010 and spend HKD2,500 within 3 months of approval.
For the last 2,500 mile bonus, you have to use your JAL Hang Seng Card to buy a JAL ticket to fly on a JAL flight (not codeshare!) on or before June 30 2010)

Of course all miles bonus will expire in 3 years once credited to your JMB account unless you are a JGC Premier or JMB Diamond frequent flyer.
