Taiwan Aviation Safety Council has posted its initial findings on JL653 fire incident. You can see pictures of the burnt seat and lighter on their report page.

According to the report, the registration code is JA613J and there were 3 pilots, 9 cabin attendants and 33 passengers onboard. At around 10,000 feet, the cabin crew noticed burn smell and found out smoke coming out of the bottom of seat 47AC. The cabin crew immediately put out the fire using an extinguisher.

From the pictures, you can see there is a 0.5cm x 0.5cm and a 3.5cm x 3.5cm burn marks on the back and side of the seat respectively. The lighter was found in between the armrest of seat 47A and 47C and the top of the lighter is melted. However, the lighter is not owned by the passengers sitting at 47AC and there were no evidence of smoking nor burnt mark on their fingers.

You can visit ASC report to see the pictures of the burnt seat and lighter. But the report is in Chinese only for now. I have translated most of the important points in this post already :)
